The initial Wood Spur was crafted by a Theegan druid with the sole intent of clearing the dense unnatural vegetation that forms the border of the Taurquion forest. This forest perimeter is known as the Tendrils, an area exceptionally resistant to blight and fire. Given the weapon's purpose of clearing vegetation, both sentient and non-sentient, possessing such a device is punishable by death in lands under the rule of Angrod.
