Belras Foroderch, an authority on the diverse energy types and more technical in nature, designates them as Cubes of Negativity. Regardless of the nomenclature, these devices serve as the source of negative energy that empowers necromantic spells and the creation of Undead.
In a world devoid of the Cube of Arcane, magic ceases to exist. Correspondingly, a realm lacking the Cube of Negativity is one where necromancy and the undead are nonexistent.
