The Dras'ee family is a Minâth house that gained notoriety during the tribal past of the Khazarkars. To both the Khazarkar tribes and the Tragaran tribes of southern Gulimbor, the Dras'ees were considered one of the wilder families of Alêth. They were known for their shamans, druids, and berserker barbarians, and they seemed to possess a rare insight for gathering information. The Dras'ees always appeared to know what was happening in neighboring areas and sometimes even distant places, which proved useful to the tribes as it provided advance notice of Tragaran tribe movements that could signal an impending raid. Later, it was discovered that the Dras'ees were "blessed" with draconic blood, as their females were Vith'kirr, carriers of the Curse of Ausul'nah and spreaders of the weredragon lycanthropy. Their Vith'kirr, capable of flight in their dragon form, accounted for the family's "rare insight" when it came to intelligence gathering.

Dragons, since time immemorial, have been regarded with trepidation and reverence by primitive tribes. Those possessing the capacity to metamorphose into one were esteemed as divinely blessed.

Tarân Zinul, Khazarkar historian - "Early Khazarkar Tribal Beliefs"

Dras'ee is an Old Khazarkar term. Unlike numerous other khazarkars, the Dras'ees maintained their family name and declined to alter it to one of the Nidurrâb language.

Two of the most renowned Dras'ees are Lenassu and her daughter Gazdu. In 974, Lenassu Dras'ee assumed the mantle of leadership for the First Khazarkar Empire. She was the final member of the Minâth family to govern the empire under a monarchical system.
