Questions to ask when making up your character.

What race are you?

The character's racial background will establish common areas of origin. While you need not hail from these regions, you should possess a compelling justification for having been raised elsewhere - potentially as a member of a merchant caravan, nomadic group, or individual displaced by conflict, among other possibilities.

Where are you from?

Choose a common homeland fitting your racial identity - or any locale you prefer. Uncommon occurrences are feasible, such as a Kenku born and raised in an underground city - an intriguing narrative element. Certain races are limited to their birthplace, like the Pyrmidian Ghouls tied to specific Pyramids of Power that serve as their places of origin.

Birthplace will determine other Languages you may be familiar with. Populations in close proximity for extended durations frequently acquire the languages of their neighboring groups.

Do you do religion, if so, what Higher Power(s) do you beseech?

Worshipping a Higher Power to gain strength, fortune, the occult, or access to unique realms (for priests) can yield certain boons. This faith must be genuine and not merely a last resort, or else the divine energy fails to flow between the Higher Power's domain and the devout follower.
