The Drugnod Pact was an arrangement forged between the Drugnod of Kashu'khas and Demogorgon. The essence of this pact was that in exchange for Demogorgon's assistance in advancing the family's prosperity - eliminating hindrances and aiding the ascension of future leaders - the Drugnod would be obligated to surrender a dozen of their kinsmen in a forthcoming generation selected by Demogorgon.

After the deal, the children of Drugnod were imbued with a liberal application of magic, fortified by alchemical concoctions from demon-kind, and in select instances, the outcome of demonic intercourse. Of the latter, these yielded cambions of Gnoll descent, destined to be the runt of the litter - half-breeds with little hope of bettering their standing in the ruthlessly competitive family dynamic.

The deal also encompassed knowledge transfer. A succubus named Zhosilix, who had been in service to Demogorgon since the Abyssal Release (7777 DE - 8777 DE), was assigned to the Kashu'khas. Every nine months, she would be summoned and unbound. For the subsequent three months of each year, she trained the Drugnod daughters in courtly matters, intrigue, diplomacy, and the art of hand-to-hand combat. Drugged with demon elixirs, they frequently continued well into the night, reading and debating mathematics, sciences, and alchemy.

By the age of sixteen, the initial Cadet of Zhosilix commanded a war band of two-hundred. With females receiving the specialized training and the subsequent prestige, male infanticide became an ongoing issue for the Drugnods.

The Drugnod Dynasty was established four decades following the inception of the pact. Its founder and empress was Gaufthaur Drugnod, the second-generation scion of the Drugnod Pact, and the 10th Cadet of Zhosilix.

In 746, Demogorgon dispatched the Widows of Modrerthim to claim his portion of the arrangement. Catalyzed during the Hlothangi Insurgency, this action precipitated the downfall of the Drugnod dynasty and their dominion.
