Built during the Age of Creation, a time when primordials and future gods battled across the universe, this earthen berm, the Aglak Rampart, served as a containment measure for water and other matter leaking into this world from another realm. This ongoing leak is known as the Radullu Creep. Located in the Adellum Sector, a vast earthen embankment was constructed to channel the creep's flow towards the Tara-Har Depression. Fortified with extensive Covenant magic and the assistance of hundreds of rogue earth elementals, this structure has withstood the test of time for millennia, weathering into a series of tightly linked hills that merge with those further east.

In the Second Epoch, the Ningizzida Empire sought to sow discord in their neighbor's domain. Employing a profusion of magic and the labor of countless slaves, they carved a channel through the Aglak Rampart, giving rise to the Nithiach River. This flooded the farmlands and fortifications of their rivals, the Farinteens. A decade later, the river had carved a path all the way to the Pearl Sea. Ultimately, Ningizzida's attempt to impede Farinteen's northern expansion proved futile. The Farinteens, in turn, channeled the river's flow to their farmlands, fostering an abundance of game along the riverbanks and transforming Phanax into a prominent commercial port.
