Battar-Sûn is an expansive grassland situated in the southern reaches of Gulimbor. It is bounded to the north by Woad, to the west by Alêth, and to the east by the Tarmagân wetlands. The grassland extends southward, stretching past Mirush and reaching as far as Gwaelergoth.

The Battar-Sûn plains north of Mirush receive substantial rainfall. As a consequence, the area is crisscrossed by numerous streams. Additionally, it boasts an abundance of ponds and small lakes. The thick, lush grassland of the plain features pockets of towering elephant grass. The herd animals that thrive in this region number in the hundreds of thousands. Prior to the Great Exodus (998 - 1017), this area served as the primary source of meat for the Tragarans, Khazarkars, and other races that once inhabited the southern tracts of Marninnoth.

The southern plains, situated south of the River Mirush, become increasingly arid as one ventures closer to the Rônnahar wasteland.
