Boraresh is a vast lake sustained by numerous cascading waterfalls spilling over the formidable Ridge of Collossapolos. This towering cliff lies south of the grand city of Collossapolos. At its highest point, it rises 1500' above the lake. The largest of the waterfalls tumbling over the ridge is known as the Vein of Gruumsh. The thundering of the waterfalls can be heard up to 20 miles away. These waterfalls are fed by streams and canals originating from Virgath, flowing through Collossapolos. On the southern shores of Boraresh stands a massive plateau called Amoral, the northern tip of the Bileddanul mountain range. Atop Amoral sits Gháshulg, the capital of the Orchish Empire. The northern extremity of the lake is overshadowed by the towering cliffs and formidable walls of Collossapolos.
The mighty Foronir River originates from the southward flow of Boraresh. Foronir derives its source from this significant waterway.
