Chen'ryon is an unusual desert situated in the northeastern reaches of Zythess. It emerged during the Creation War, when a colossal primordial purple worm burrowed through the Web of Magic and entered the world of Bal-Kriav. Being an underground creature, the worm suffered from the rays of Merioss, prompting it to burrow deeper. This gargantuan worm, known as Krephus, left a vast cavity in its wake, which became the Krephus Sink. The debris field left behind by Krephus's excavation is the desert of Chen'ryon, whose fine sand exhibits a blend of colors from the various layers it traversed within Goulnacus.
