The graveyards on Necrocrypt are commonly referred to as The Gardens. When someone dies, they are interred within the garden, where later they will "grow" into an undead. This growing process stems from long tendrils of negative energy that nourish the bodies. It is a more gradual approach than utilizing a spell like animate dead, yet achieves the same result. Advancements in these tendrils led to the development of Black Tide's skyships, the Harvesters.
The caretakers maintain the appearance of these burial grounds with the same meticulous attention that druids would lavish upon their own cultivated gardens.
The expansive Garden of Bone lies beyond the walls of Mularûn. Numerous mausoleums, crypts, and innumerable graves span the one-mile diameter of this hallowed ground.
