Under the cloak of night, the Harvesters, gruesomely rib-cage-shaped skyships, would hover above the battlefields, emanating a muted, ashen glow over the fallen. The lifeless bodies would then stir, and elongated sinews would descend from the vessels, drawing the newly risen undead into the holds of these vessels of death.
Acktan, Khazarkar scout - "Missives from the Cinazan Front"
The Harvester class of skyships first debuted during the Chaos War. In this conflict, these vessels would arrive under the cover of night, when only the wounded and fallen remained for the vultures and scavengers. The skyships would harness necromantic energy to reanimate the corpses as undead. Lengthy, pallid tentacles that had previously dangled lifelessly from the ship would spring into action, pulling the undead into the vessel's hold.
The tentacles employed on Harvesters represent advancements of those utilized in the Gardens of Bone.

The Harvester is a slender, merchant-like vessel. Lengthy, sinewy tentacles extend from the ship's underbelly, coursing with a sickly green Necrotic Energy. During our raid on Avalê with the Trauma Squad, I witnessed two squads of ghasts descend the tentacles of a Harvester-class ship named the Myrmidon. I'm uncertain why they did not utilize these sinews to extract our target, Saint Sekbire - perhaps these tendrils only retrieve corpses or the undead.
Regarding the Harvester's defenses, it possesses limited armaments and protection. I personally observed, at near point-blank range, the Myrmidon being destroyed by the Pillar of Horns. It is worth noting that the Pillar of Horns is a formidable vessel, with few ships capable of withstanding its broadside barrage for long.
