Sekbire was an influential leader of Wight Drakon, one of the cells within the Cult of Worms. He held the prestigious title of Master of Liches, a designation typically reserved for the high priest of a city's Church of Thasmudyan. Furthermore, Sekbire was a member of the Second Dead Council from 1812 to 1832.

In the year 1832, he orchestrated the Sekbire Pact between the Black Tide of Thasmudyan and the Tormoran Federation.

On 8 Witchrite 1832, Sekbire was located at AvalĂȘ. In these ruins, he was preparing corpses for transport and bolstering the undead guarding the area. An adventuring group known as Trauma Squad entered the ruins and began battling his undead forces. He summoned a nearby Harvester to extract him from the perilous situation, as he lacked a word of recall or other means of escape. Hunkering down, he waited as the adventurers fought through his minions. When they burst into the great hall, Sekbire and his powerful undead guards engaged them in an extended battle. Realizing he had no chance against the skilled adventurers, Sekbire fled up the stairs and used an ethereal jaunt spell to escape. Trauma Squad pursued him across the ruins as he made his way to the arriving Harvester. From the ship's mid-deck, Sekbire received covering fire from a unit of ju-ju archers, and a force of twenty armored ghasts and a death knight attempted to protect his retreat. However, the Harvester's arrival was followed by the arrival of a formidable void battleship, the Pillar of Horns, which quickly destroyed the Harvester, preventing Sekbire's escape. Ultimately, Sekbire was cut down by Trauma Squad.

The lifeless body of Sekbire was transported aboard the Pillar of Horns, where it was consigned to permanent repose. All vestiges of the remains were eradicated, and the dust dispersed upon the winds of Grashakh.
