One of the most formidable dragons of the Aerie of Dragons is a crimson-hued wyrm named Sebgult. His abode resides within the smoldering depths of a volcano bearing his moniker, the Lair of Sebgult.

In the Horgon Era, Sebgult resided in Irrangrad alongside a Gradorian hero named Khimrinâth. This valiant hero saved Sebgult from certain death when he was assaulted by a much older blue dragon known as Kahangron. The blue dragon had pinned Sebgult to the ground and was preparing to deliver the final blow. Khimrinâth charged into the fray atop a fire lizard. The ensuing battle saw Sebgult and Khimrinâth fighting against Kahangron. When the conflict concluded, the blue dragon lay dead, but Khimrinâth and Sebgult bore scars that would remain with them forever, forging an unusual bond that would endure until their last breath. The two would go on to fight numerous battles, becoming revered heroes of Mir'piamauza. Many years later, during the conflict with the Zeymah'kein, Khimrinâth perished at the Battle of Suf Sungaar. Upon his comrade's demise, Sebgult descended into a rage that lasted for weeks. During this time, the dragon single-handedly decimated an entire Zeymah'kein brigade.

In 822, Sebgult embarked on a destructive rampage. He flew southward to Gulimbor, setting Woad ablaze, and then assaulted Chal-Kazod. According to ancient Khazarkar chronicles housed at the Neetch Institute, some Chal-Kazod knights reported witnessing a ghostly knight upon Sebgult's back, the ethereal figure saluting them as the dragon made its initial pass over the city.

In 1172, the fearsome Sebgult emerged from his mountainous abode, with streams of scorching fire trailing in his wake. He then soared to the lands of the Shounejo, where he unleashed his wrath upon the city of Utoto. The fiery devastation was so catastrophic that much of the city was reduced to smoldering ash, with the ground beneath turned to glass. Even to this day, the Shou people continue to recount tales of Sebgult's relentless rampage, referring to him as the Samauri Dragon .
