The ruins of Irrangrad lie southwest of the Lair of Sebgult. During the Horgon Era, this location was a formidable stronghold of the Mir'piamauza Empire ( 526 HE - 1612 HE ) . Built in the unforgiving expanse of Kii Nev, it depended on reinforced aqueducts and deep wells. At its zenith in 1200 HE, it was a moderately-sized city with a population of 30,000.
Much of Irrangrad's affluence derived from the abundance of gemstone and iron mines; these are currently operated by companies headquartered in Ag Staaz.
The most intriguing aspect of Irrangrad is a basalt monument, a soaring structure depicting a knight astride a crimson dragon. It commemorates Khimrinâth, one of Mir'piamauza's most illustrious heroes and the scarlet dragon Sebgult.
