Situated on the eastern edge of Kii Nev, Ag Staaz is a bustling port city along the Morwuld Briin ocean, serving as a significant commercial center. To the west of the city lie the fiery wastelands surrounding the Lair of Sebgult, where creatures unaccustomed to the intense heat, gas, and other volcanic conditions will find the environment unforgiving, if not outright perilous. When the winds shift eastward from Sebgult, the city is overwhelmed by noxious gas and scorching dry heat emanating from the lava flows, resulting in the demise of many foreign traders and travelers caught in such occurrences.
The city derives its primary wealth from the mining of gold and adamantine, as well as the practice of piracy. The Irkeldraks and Kii Nev possess numerous mines that yield seemingly endless veins of gold, adamantine, and precious gemstones. Ag Staaz serves as a haven for Shou pirates and lacks a substantial naval force of its own, relying instead on foreign traders to transport its goods. Due to its protection of pirates, Ag Staaz is periodically targeted by the Dragon Armada. In recent times, the Shounejo navy has been reluctant to pursue pirates within range of Ag Staaz's deadly harbor cannons. The city boasts a dozen Cyclops Harbor Cannons and can summon the aid of several red dragons if necessary. This harboring and sponsorship of pirates has led to numerous reprisals and conflicts, the greatest of which being Kiihus Vaaril.
