The headwaters of the Glumgard River originate at the southeastern periphery of Droonesh. From this gloomy wetland, the river flows southward across the Hangath Forest and down the central valley of Bileddanul. After traversing this mountain vale and its Gimhak ruins, the river enters the Morath Forest. Beyond this, it passes the Orchish river city of Kotharlarg and continues south through the grasslands of Knur Slagming, ultimately converging with the Dargirth River.
To transform Kotharlarg into a viable deep-draft port, dredging is conducted both manually and through magical means. The latter approach primarily involves the summoning of water elementals. Over the centuries, hundreds of these elementals have escaped their bindings. Some have eluded their pursuers and established permanent dwellings in the stretch of the river flowing through Bileddanul.
