The rugged Goldrah Fusvok Rahn pass lies in the northeastern region of Tu Naar. During the Demon Spawn War, the armies of Tharuz, son of Danzar-Khâl, constructed a formidable wall across the pass, naming it Oratu Iru.
In the Horgon Era, shortly following the establishment of the Dominion of Resalth, the Path of Balfroglemis, a military thoroughfare, was carved through this mountainous passage. It was during the construction of this road that the pass acquired an official designation. It was named Goldrah Fusvok Rahn, or Boulder Toss Pass, owing to the continual boulder assaults by the region's inhospitable stone giants. After vanquishing the giants at Oratu Iru, the road was extended into Vith Ruus.
By the First Epoch, the pass had once again fallen under the control of the stone giants. They levy tolls upon all who venture beneath the imposing ramparts of Oratu Iru, and at times bombard travelers purely for their own amusement or maliciousness.
