In the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), forces under the primordial lord Hettar delved deep into the hills of Radveig. Pursuing rich gold veins, they excavated mining pits that extended thousands of feet straight downward along the ore deposits. The surrounding hills then housed villages and dwellings for the legions of miners, laborers, and support personnel. Today, these mining pits have become flooded, transforming into a series of ponds and small lakes collectively known as Hettar's Spittoons.
