Hullback Forest

This forest covers much of the island Rest. An order of druids, the Circle of Hullback, are responsible for planting, seeding, and harvesting the area's Hullback. During the Horgon Era, this wood was utilized in the vessels of the Abâthigûr navy. After the collapse of this empire, druids discovered the region's unique timber. They safeguarded and managed this forest and its distinct wood. The Circle of Hullback, though few in number, have consistently enjoyed the military backing of any power claiming sovereignty over the island, offering their services in forest stewardship, including the use of spells like plant growth to maintain supply. In earlier times, they attempted to prohibit wood-cutting, but as the populace expanded and the strength of the archipelago's pirates escalated, they resigned to forest management rather than harvest prevention measures.
