East of Drenvun and north of the Sands of Hell lies a bay known as Hullbreaker. In the Dawn Era, this body of water earned its name due to its treacherous reefs, wrecked hulls, swirling currents, and other navigational hazards. While some of these dangers are natural, many are the remnants of the Creation War, constructed by the Primordials to protect the coastal settlements surrounding the bay. These massive, blocklike structures, built of tusk coral, have endured the ages, impervious to weathering and all but the mightiest of magics. Serving as enormous aquatic obstacles, they once prevented Covenant ships from entering the bay to support a war against storm giants and other minions serving the primordial lord Kurrolath.

Today, the bay's ancient ruins are largely overgrown, serving as nesting grounds for birds, hideouts for pirates, and lairs for Harpy and other predatory creatures. In the southern section of the bay, near Khimilêth, the ancient ruins have become the foundations for fishing villages, palatial estates, and Khimilêth's naval fortifications.

Hullbreaker is exceedingly perilous to navigate, with primal structures channeling the currents and seemingly luring a vessel toward it and down ridges where escape often proves unfeasible. To evade such issues, the majority of ships take on one of the numerous pilots stationed at Sinnauma. Along the more hazardous northern routes, they employ guidelines, at times towing ships through areas by means of barges, constructs, or with the assistance of sea giants.
