The Kaminâth is a swift-flowing river that originates in the Uradûnê mountains. It rushes northeastward, cascading through Barun-Mitân by a series of waterfalls and then descending the Uradûnê Plateau. The upper stretches of the river, south of Barun-Mitân, are classified as Class 5 white water, drawing thrill-seekers from the surrounding region. However, these treacherous rapids are not the only concern, as the hills and highlands are home to bugbears, goblins, griffons, and other potential threats. Additionally, some travelers have been abducted by bandits and held for ransom, making Kaminâth white water expeditions a costly endeavor.

At the base of the Uradûnê Plateau, the river bisects Sahânzar. It flows through vineyards and farmlands before passing the small village of Barulêth. This town marks the farthest point navigable by galleys up the river. The watercourse continues northeastward through Sahânzar, skirting additional fields and wetlands. Roughly twenty miles from Orondir and the Dargirth, the landscape transitions to a frontier-like expanse dotted with abandoned settlements. These ruins were once inhabited communities that were deserted following catastrophic flooding during the Ice Cap Melt. The Kaminâth converges with the mighty Dargirth. Where these two rivers conjoin stands Zigân-Zadân, a town constructed on stilts and protected by permanent force fields. These barriers provide safeguard against the periodic inundation of the dual waterways.
