Map Kamoni Jungle

The Kamoni jungle extends from the shorelines of the Sea of Mourning to the inclines of the Dragon Wall and then eastward to Fiit Storn. The existence of this lush, verdant expanse in an otherwise temperate region was an outcome of the formation of the Temporal Zephyr.

The Kamoni serves as a natural barrier separating Hells Womb from the Aerie of Dragons. During the Second Epoch, the region was inhabited by numerous orcs. Tarkrath, a prominent town, functioned as the center of control and arms manufacturing for the orc population. In 1041, the Kal-Oni succeeded in expelling the orcs from the Kamoni.

After the opening of the Caina Nexus, the climate of Kamoni changed, with the lower part of Hells Womb swept by the Temporal Zephyr, and the forests slowly giving way to jungles. Druids and others repopulated the area with creatures from the lands of Ma'Ohari, including elephants. These Kamoni Elephants, brought over from Ma'Ohari, are massive and fearless creatures that have come to serve in heavy construction and ultimately been bred for war, serving in the armies of Kal-Oni and the empires that followed. Today, Kamoni Elephants are sold in places like Paradomea City, where they end up in construction companies, an empire's armies, or in the ranks of an order like the Grisagwer.

Arduous March

The orc migration out of Kamoni is known as the Arduous March (1041 - 1096). During this strategic withdrawal, Kamoni's orcs underwent a dramatic transformation in their operational and behavioral patterns. Led by the enigmatic hero Blac'drugulois, they established the formidable Orchish Empire.
