KB1 is a location along the Krephus Passage where the primordial worm Krephus chose to burrow directly downwards. After thorough mapping of the surrounding area, it was determined that Krephus made this decision due to natural impediments. To the north, she was constrained by the waters of Morwuld Briin, and to the east by a river of elemental earth known as the Earth Seam.
Krephus Bore One extends downward for a remarkable three thousand feet. Upon reaching the base, now situated within Hezmort's Tier 2 Underdark, the Krephus Passage continues northward beneath the expansive ocean.
