The Khilag-Tarkin Valley descends from the southwestern edge of the Laucentar Forest. The valley's eastern flank is rugged and littered with boulders, featuring streams and the convergence of two rivers. Its western side rises to form the Marrow Fields.
Khilag-Tarkin serves as the principal land passage for entering the Lands of Purity from the eastern regions. The majority of this movement occurs along the Sorrow Road through Laucentar, ultimately descending into Khilag-Tarkin - the Easten Gates to Purity.
In the Breached Pass Campaign, this valley was bestowed the Parry of Ares, a celestial benediction granted to any mortal within the valley engaged in battle against a genuine adversary.
After the Athenian Crusade (1539 - 1551), Khilag-Tarkin became a hallowed pilgrimage site for devotees of Ares.
