Kulaan Ruus, the Prince's Throat, is a deep canyon within the Vale of Inzurakthol. Descending into Hokzii Skuld, the canyon is traversed by a road that winds through four thousand feet of ice before reaching the old surface of the vale. In this region, where the ice has melted due to an unusual warmth, lie the outer ruins of Ghak, the Food Pens district that once fed the demon hordes of a bygone war. Still in use today, the pens house and butcher frost giants, who slaughter dire goats and mammoths, providing a distribution network that spans the vale and reaches the nearby coasts.
