With the conclusion of the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), the Lossëhelin forest became the domain of a company of wood elves who had served under multiple Covenant commanders. Renowned for their mastery of ruse, deception, and guerrilla tactics, these elves were highly sought-after by various armies. Much like during the war, they maintained a nomadic lifestyle, relocating to different retreats and allowing the land to recover in their absence. Disinclined towards organized religion, they preferred to embrace the raw power of nature over the doctrines of most Higher Powers. Nevertheless, their reliance on druidic magic established connections to various Higher Powers, though they refrained from openly venerating or invoking them.
In the Phael-Tetramord War, spanning from year 10 to year 25 of the First Epoch, the nomadic tribes inhabiting this forest were driven out by the demonic forces. Aboard the Cirongwathir vessels, they journeyed northward to the High Wood Country, where they would eventually found the Angrod state.
