The verdant Mauhúlfúr Valley is encased by the majestic Peaks of Turak. The eastern portion of this rugged, arid valley serves as the sacred burial ground of the Toomrur. Dotting the landscape are massive, sometimes ornate burial mounds constructed atop stone-strewn hills and rocky outcroppings. These Barrows of Mauhúlfúr provide the eternal resting place for sixty-eight Ogre Lords. Sadly neglected, the Barrows have become a haven for monsters, undead, and roaming oozes. The most perilous entities are the Dead Ogre Lords, who have embraced a guardian lichdom, serving as eternal sentinels for the barrows, moving through stone and earth like Earthen entities.

The eastern vale harbors a substantial population of oozes and giant slugs. The efforts of the Orgak have led to the majority of these viscous creatures being born in the spawning pools of Inanweg.

The western region of Mauhúlfúr, topping out at an elevation of 10,300 feet, is significantly loftier and more lush than its eastern counterpart. Blanketed by the Forest of Gorkith, this area is interlaced with meandering streams and alpine lakes.
