Gunaegail Raibyr

The colossal Mulbind-Fel plunges downward from the expansive Gunaegail into the subterranean domains of Raibyr and beyond. Originating from the imposing walls of Ilbaragûn, the chasm possesses a mouth spanning twenty miles in width, gradually tapering as it descends for over eighty miles.

A common belief of the area, a religiously inspired notion, is that at the very base of Mulbind-Fel lies a rift to Tarâk's domain. Those who have ventured there claim such legends lack merit, describing it as "a trash pile, a graveyard, a mound of bones from all the sacrifices tossed in the name of Tarâk."

Mulbind-Fel's upper reaches constitute a veritable labyrinth of passages, labyrinths, crypts, and mining tunnels. The latter are collectively known as the World Copper Core. The region yields such an abundance of copper that exceeds market demand, necessitating the storage of the surplus across numerous secure vaults.

With numerous holds and peoples inhabiting the surrounding area, Mulbind-Fell serves as a receptacle, accumulating excess water, sewage spillways, sludge from blacksmiths, and discarded refuse that cascades downward. From the towering walls of Ilbaragûn, these materials flow, joined by the detritus from the many holds and settlements dotting the descent. Much of this waste, adhering to the adage "one man's trash is another man's treasure," is collected and repurposed further down, even the sewage finding use in fungi gardens.

The most expedient route of descent in this region involves cranes, elevators, catwalks, and bridges. These traversal methods pass through towers, villages, and strongholds, first of Ilbaragûn, then those of the Molcombur and others.
