Ilbaragûn was established by Goblin devotees devoted to Tarâk. The location originated as a gory shrine, wherein sacrificial offerings were cast into a vast sinkhole designated Mulbind-Fel.
The ancient city-state, sacked repeatedly from below and above, gave rise to walls fortified with beams of mithril and thirty-six Travel Impenetrability Wards shielding critical areas. Today, Ilbaragûn stands as a formidable bastion along the northern rim, extending deep into the bowels of Mulbind-Fel. While the area's religious significance is overshadowed, it remains a hub of activity, with a steady flow of traffic to the subterranean holds of Molcombur, the city-state of Sul'tach, and other holds of Raibyr.
Forged under the tutelage of the efreet, and later the Salamander masters of Felandushma, the goblin smiths of Ilbaragûn are renowned for their exceptional metalworking capabilities.
