In the year 1160, illicit mining operations conducted by Ilbaragûn within Khuzanbal, along with acts of piracy on Lake Baraglindu, ultimately provoked a conflict with the city-state of Bughor.
By the fourth year of the war, the darkness of Mulbind-Fel and the walls of Ilbaragûn were visible on the horizon. Had it not been for the signing of the Gelakgizal Pact (1164 - 1166), Ilbaragûn would have likely succumbed.
The Ogre Lord of Bughor, his troops having been pushed southward from Rakgund, sued for peace on 13 War March 1166. The hills of Khuzanbal were partitioned, with the eastern half - long a battleground for the three city-states of the region - falling to the victors.
