Map Nulag River

The Nulag River originates in the peaks of Khazandulud. Flowing southward through the valley of Irazaggumak, it enters the mountains of Khizunul, where it becomes a series of turbulent rapids, navigable only by canoe and small rafts. Once past the mountains, the river broadens and slows. From the riverside towns and villages of the Hjalmarbrodd to the bay of Tarag-Khâlu, the depth is sufficient to accommodate even large, giant-built ships. The formation of these deep channels is attributed to the efforts of giant mud crabs, known as Ibelgas's Chariots.

Their meat, a delicacy across numerous realms, they are genuine terrors to witness. Their shells have been transformed into shields as formidable as iron, while the larger ones have been fashioned into rune-etched tower domes, resistant to both psionics and magic. Once the shock troops of Ibelgas, they now thrive as crustaceans naturally should.

Tipps, a renowned mud crab fisher, recounts his experiences from the Tales of Tarag-Khâlu - "Soldiers to Dinner Table" He skillfully navigates the treacherous waters, expertly catching the elusive mud crabs that grace the dinner tables of the realm Through his captivating narrative, he transports the reader to the heart of this aquatic endeavor, weaving a tale of perseverance, triumph, and the profound connection between the seasoned fisherman and his quarry

Numbers long checked by available food, Ibelgas's Chariots escalated with the arrival of the Ark of Devgwer and its formidable creatures.
