At an elevation of 60,000 feet, Tiamat's Perch stands as the highest peak on the Brucrumus continent. Part of the Dragon Wall mountain range, Tiamat's Perch is perpetually shrouded in a belt of clouds at its upper reaches. Concealed within these clouds are seven floating islands, each buoyed aloft by earth motes. During the (215 GE - 230 GE) Hoof Front, these islands served as command centers, supply depots, and medical bays for the Covenant. Majestic citadels of the sky, they stand abandoned since the end of the God Era, their lofty and often windswept halls now home to rocs, giant eagles, and even dragons, cloud giants, and other creatures drawn to such remote and inaccessible realms. Beyond the ring of these floating island strongholds lies the vast forge area known as Cloud Forge.
