The jagged peaks of Turak, named for the hobgoblin warlord Turak Bone, rise in the southeastern reaches of Grashakh. These highlands have been the domain of hobgoblins since the middle of the Horgon Era, a warring tribal population. The advent of the Toomrur in the surrounding lowlands ushered in cycles of unity and great conflicts, ultimately culminating in a forced migration westward to Korbortun and the Dargirth floodplains.
One of the more perilous groups inhabiting these rugged mountains is the Ghorzul tribe. Following the seizure of Khatúlg during the Lich Front, the Ghorzul have engaged in a relentless guerrilla campaign against the hobgoblin occupiers.
