The Lich Front was a minor conflict within the far-reaching scope of the Chaos War.
In 1832, the Tormoran Federation allied with the Black Tide of Thasmudyan under the Sekbire Pact. During the latter half of that same year, the Pact's armies, numbering between 40,000 and 60,000 soldiers, mobilized for war in and around Korbortun.
At the behest of aid from the Orchish Empire under Monty the Mad, the Pact divided their army into two contingents. One force advanced eastward toward the Toomrur Hegemony city of Khatúlg. The other army marched by land and the Dargirth river toward the contested Orchish city of Gúluzgash.
On the twenty-first of Artifice, conflict erupted between the Pact and the Toomrur Hegemony.
In 1833, the Pact forces that ventured westward encountered conflict with the Council of Bile. The purpose of this campaign was to alleviate pressure on the Orchish Empire, which at the time was embroiled in an internal conflict, battling the Khazarkars on the Cinazan Front and those opposing them on the Grashakh Front.
