In a series, rising from the sands of Mattârâk and northwest into the fetid wetlands of Awâb are a collection of 200-foot-high towers. They billow up and outward, serving as air vents for an underground canal that links to the subterranean side of the ruins of Urkalzîr and Felth. Some of these ventilation towers are damaged and in ruin, while others remain intact, their magical wards shielding them from the ravages of time, weather, and attack since the era when the Lith-Crillion held dominion over the region.
