The tranquil Vorshym Bay lies to the east of Paradomea City, fed by the Dargirth River and smaller tributaries. South of the bay, the vast Pearl Sea stretches out. Vorshym has become a dumping ground for aged and derelict vessels from the bustling harbors of Paradomea City, as well as a disposal site for various other discarded items. Some of these abandoned ships are salvaged or kept in a mothballed state, ready to be reactivated for the next conflict. Special guards, such as air elementals and magical creatures, watch over these mothballed vessels, which are stored near where the Dargirth's main flow converges with the bay.
Vorshym, frequently enveloped in a hazy mist, presents an unsettling atmosphere with the incessant cracking of ropes and the eerie groans of derelict vessels. Only the most skilled pilots can navigate the bay's numerous partially submerged hulks. Depending on the time of year, the location serves as a refuge for pirates, brigands, harpies, undead, and saltwater scrags.
At the end of the bay, a steep escarpment rises, its slopes crisscrossed by trails leading to the summit. These pathways converge with the Brashiin Road, though they were not carved for commerce or passage, but rather to facilitate the activities of brigands.
