Ble-Aarakocra are a specialized sub-group of the Aarakocra. They once served as the elite city guard of Uriall-Madiess before it was consumed by the Web of Magic. While several dozen managed to escape the devastation, they were left psychologically scarred by the experience. Subsequently, they have come to embrace their raptor-like predatory nature, rather than maintaining the balanced humanoid and avian aspects characteristic of true aarakocra.
The Ble-Aarakocra possess diverse plumages akin to their avian counterparts in the wilderness. Their distinctive features frequently mirror those of their feathered kin. For instance, an individual adorned in a vibrant, cardinal-like crimson plumage may exhibit a cautious demeanor, maintaining a safe distance and approaching only when deemed secure. Conversely, there are those whose feathers and head resemble the majestic owl, typically exhibiting a nocturnal disposition.
