Firbolg

Firbolg are the most human-like of the giant races. They tend to be reclusive, evading interaction with other sentient races. They do not coexist harmoniously with giants. This distaste for the other giant races stems from their creation. They were brought into existence during the Dawn Era by Benevolence to serve as a counterbalance to the giants serving under the primordials.
