The Khazarkar Empire endeavored to capture the prosperous city of Azrunâth and its thriving commercial trade through a combination of naval and ground assaults in the year 1733. The ground forces landed at Sibacin, while the navy established a blockade and bombardment of the city.
When Shounejo learned of Azrunâth's plight, they dispatched the Dazi Tetzezan to the aid of their commercial ally. Late in the year, naval contingents of Shounejo, supported by Azrunâth frigates, vanquished the naval forces of the Githân. This was a substantial blow, as it stranded the land armies of the Khazarkar Empire. Nearly 15,000 troops were compelled to traverse hostile lands and then cross the merciless Sands of Hell. Regrettably, only a little more than 2,000 troops managed to return to the Khazarkar Empire's frontier.
