The Dao Revolt was a slave rebellion within the Tinnanguth Empire. In 817, the Dao, earth elementals, and other affiliated Earthen peoples rose up against their overlords.
After six grueling months of intense conflict, the slaves finally succeeded in overthrowing the mighty Tinnanguth empire. The majority of the Sussgurd, including some former masters of the dao, were reduced to a state of servitude. Nevertheless, several hundred managed to evade capture and flee into the remote frontiers of Karnegmoth. Many of these refugees ventured far eastward, crossing the borders into Izagunbar, ultimately settling in the remote township of Khimrathil.
