Dienkigec

The term "Dienkigec" is a Terran word meaning "Great One." When explorers ventured from Gnemdos, 200 miles to the northeast, they discovered a massive petrified worm. Believing it to be one of the ancient creatures that carved the Great Tradeway, they established a settlement in the area. As raiders began causing problems, the colonists fortified and took refuge within the petrified giant's remains. Today, a city of over 100,000 people resides within the remnants of one of Krephus's offspring.

The city's southern perimeter overlooks the Heliotrope Sea. By the Horgon Era, the metropolis had expanded in all directions, including down the petrified worm where it vanishes into the sea's amethystine waters. In this quarter, they constructed a substantial port that facilitated a swifter and more secure connection to Gnemdos and other regional strongholds.
