Those who had escaped the failed Andigimok coup of 946 LE founded Galir-Khizad. Hunted, they retreated into Baruk-Gind, following the Earth Seam for several months before emerging at Baruk-Khâl. Now a continent and ocean removed from the Andigimok bounty hunters, they ventured southwest, establishing several temporary settlements along the way before ultimately founding a permanent home in the Maleddanar Region.
In the year 2501 LE, the city of Galir-Khizad was seized by the rival city-state of Garâl-Thûru. Following the cessation of conflict, these two metropolitan centers were incorporated into the domains of the Vîlnên Monarchy.
Liberated during the Galir-Khizad Uprising (461 HE - 464 HE), in 488 HE, Galir-Khizad was elevated to become the capital of the Taklumlode Theocracy.
