Thorkrin

Thorkrin serves as a trading hub for the inhabitants of the Thraroon swamp and those traveling northward along the Sarmarg Road. Constructed upon sturdy stilts capable of supporting the weight of storm giants, the settlement is elevated above the marsh and generally spared from the spring inundation of the Glumgard.

On the fringe of a wetland teeming with vexatious insects, which suck blood and transmit disease, Thorkrin is habituated solely by those acclimated to marsh-based subsistence.
