Inherently malevolent, quicklings are a distinct subspecies of the Sprite race. Aligned with the Primordial faction during the Creation War, they served as covert operatives and rapid scouts. Subsequently, under the command of demonic overlords in the Demon Spawn War, they expanded their repertoire to include assassination.
The initial Quickling emerged in the Cilarrion region of Kriav. Under the primordials, captured sprites and their descendants grew increasingly entropic with each passing generation. In the subsequent age, under the dominion of diverse demon lords, they became progressively evil, imbued with abyssal energies, inherently dark and malicious.
