The Armarek Legion, serving under Surtur in the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), was a formidable unit composed of fiery brutes - fire giants, fire mephits, and others. Functioning primarily as a heavy infantry force, they wielded massive tower shields that, when interlocked, rendered them nearly impervious to missile attacks and most forms of magic.
