Balfroglemis, the inaugural member of the Muneyd'vith race, was created on 4 Bloom 870 HE. Originating from the laboratories of the Spire of Neld-Rac, he eventually escaped his confines. Thereafter, he journeyed eastward, pledging his allegiance to the expanding forces under the command of a blue dragon named Resalth.
For the majority of the glory days of the Dominion of Resalth, Balfroglemis served as its preeminent general, leading the legions against all who challenged Resalth's power. The first location to succumb was the Kriistvrii city-state of Lumnaar Hok. What came to be known as the Path of Balfroglemis was forged to maneuver his forces around the formidable defenses of Ag Krenok.
Over the following thirty years of the March of Resalth ( 898 HE - 933 HE ) , Balfroglemis considerably expanded the territorial reach of the empire.
Balfroglemis met his demise upon the hallowed battlefields of Feykro Silon. In his final confrontation, he cast a young primordial worm into a Sphere of Annihilation , opening a rift to the Web of Magic.
They moved with the speed of an enraged quickling horde, time appearing to slow as they prepared to strike and then accelerating in a blur of motion. Their mandible strikes burned through magical protections and contingencies, causing items of arcane power to disintegrate and leaving Balfroglemis with only his brute strength and claws to defend himself. The general fought a hopeless battle against overwhelming odds - it took the combined efforts of eight web weavers to bring down my mightiest champion. After Balfroglemis met his noble end, the guardians of The Weave set to work closing the rift.
Resalth, from a personal journal - "Farewell to a Companion"
