The Ackairon known as Skullcracker serves the Ba'lith Empire. He earned this moniker due to his propensity for cracking opponents' skulls with his bill while competing in the arenas. His true name, similar to those of his fellow Ackairons, consists of a series of clicks and chirps rather than spoken words.
As a member of Ba'lith's aerial division, he served under Talon for two years. During a routine reconnaissance mission into the Kimaris uplands, he found himself isolated and confronted by an avian predator, a carnathin – a kind of flying squirrel the size of a horse. Late in the year, their diet shifts from nuts and berries to flesh, resulting in a culling of their own numbers, but also heightening the peril for others within their territory. Skullcracker emerged from that clash having lost a wing and an eye.
In the Cinazan Front, he served as the forward gunnery captain on the Pillar of Horns. Aboard this voidship, some have taken to referring to him as Scope, as his lone remaining eye is as keen and precise as that of any eagle-eyed Ackairon.
He peers through the enhanced, magical lens, calling out, "Gun Six, positioned at 32 degrees, 300 yards away; Gun Fourteen, situated at 120 degrees, 150 yards distant; the remainder, lessen your rate of fire by half!"
