The ebony dragon Slag originated in Idrongrun, a bleak, insect-ridden marsh of Grashakh. As a fledgling, he amassed his inaugural treasure trove after vanquishing a mature azure dragon. Currently, he resides in Irtharmorn, near the Primordial Storm.
Slag has plagued MidrĂȘth for nearly a millennium. In 1476, the Har'kish were assisted by Slag in the seizure of Outpost Prime.
During his devastating rampage across numerous areas of Brucrumus, Slag was approached over a dozen times by the dragon cultists of Vith Alok. They offered him an everlasting existence of raining destruction and demise, the metamorphosis from living dragon to dracolich. Eschewing immortality in favor of the many accounts of wretchedness associated with becoming Undead, they were either rejected or devoured.
By the dawn of the fifteenth century, Slag had reached the apex of a dragon's natural lifespan. In the remote Northern Hordelands, he sought audience with the Vulon Viing, the local chapter of the Vith Alok. Within the shadowy catacombs of Phanaca, a vampire named Azalea transformed Slag into a fearsome dracolich.
