In the First Epoch, spanning the period from 340 to 388, Yga'loth was the guild master of one of Eclavfryn's thieves guilds. After a falling out with a leading drow house, he was imprisoned on trumped-up charges and forced to work in the diamond mines of Pargerax. Fifteen years later, he was still toiling for precious stones when an agent of Kezgihr, a vampire, approached him. The agent offered Yga'loth a way to quench his thirst for revenge by turning him into a vampire. In return, Yga'loth would have to serve Kezgihr for a millennium or see his essence crushed upon permanent death. Enticed by the might and enhanced thieving abilities that came with being a vampire, Yga'loth accepted the offer and has continued to serve Kezgihr even after the thousand-year agreement expired.
Yga'loth is the esteemed Master of Pargerax. He has presided over this intricate, honeycomb-like column for nearly fifteen hundred years. After forcefully expelling the Eclavfryn, he continued their operations, utilizing his vampire minions and captive "feedstock" to mine Pargerax for its abundance of diamonds, rubies, and other invaluable gemstones. These precious gems constitute the entirety of their trade, with any additional necessities procured through coercion or by employing brigands.
