Langurâpha is a widely spoken language. It is an alien tongue, brought to Bal-Kriav by the Durkoth. Upon their arrival in Bal-Kriav, the Durkoth transported slaves from three races. These races also conversed in their master's language. They may have once spoken a different language, but this was likely lost after generations of subservience to the Durkoth.
Races for whom Langurâpha functions as their primary language include the Jara, Dromite, Theegan, and the Sussgurd peoples.
Elderaunts also utilize the Langurâpha tongue. During the period in which they were subjugated by the Hydrocur, they were instructed in Aquan. Langurâpha was adopted much later, after they revolted against their oppressors and seized control of some of their former slave-holding masters. Many of the geographic locations associated with the elderaunts bear Langurâpha nomenclature.
